n – Number of the 3×3 square (see diagram next to the board)

Numbering of the 3×3 squares

How to Play SudokuIQ #4 [x² + n]

This is a unique logic puzzle in which the digits from 1 to 9 are encrypted using a special encryption key:

[x² + n] = z

Where:

  • x – a digit from classic Sudoku

  • n – the number of the 3×3 square (see the diagram next to the board)

  • z – the number you see on the board or need to enter into an empty cell (the encrypted digit)

How to decrypt a number from the board?

  1. Subtract the number of the 3×3 square (n) from the given number.

  2. Take the square root of the result – this will give you the digit that was encrypted.

Your goal:

Fill the entire Sudoku board with the encrypted numbers so that, after decrypting all the cells, each row, column, and 3×3 square contains all digits from 1 to 9, just like in classic Sudoku.

The diagram next to the board shows the numbering of the 3×3 squares.

Powers in Mathematics – History and Applications

Powers are an important concept in mathematics, bringing simplicity and clarity to calculations. As early as ancient times, mathematicians noticed how useful exponential notation can be. It makes it easier to express and understand large numbers, as well as to perform complex operations quickly. Interestingly, powers appear not only in science but also in everyday life and entertainment.

Online Sudoku with powers is a great way to combine learning and fun. Such logic games develop both mathematical skills and creativity.
